Our Values
At Wings we welcome and actively encourage and support diversity of our membership base. We understand that bias and privilege exist within our society, and we are committed to sharing and celebrating the experiences of our community and provide a platform for marginalised voices to be heard.
Respect is at the core of our values led organisation and we stand against and call out discrimination of any kind.​ Our focus is predominantly on facilitating the shared experiences of women along with the specific barriers and issues faced by this group.

We are Heather and Kt. We are a small but mighty team.
We want to meet you
Founder and Director
Heather Sandover
With over 20 years of experience working across the charity and higher education sectors, Heather is an advocate of bringing people together and facilitating the power of collective action, information sharing and positive change. After several redundancies alongside the juggle of parenting and building her career, Heather identified a gap in provision for women across the charity sectors to come together to network and learn. With a strong background in EEDI and wellbeing, Heather is a mission led empath who alongside her bundles of energy is passionate about ensuring inclusivity and equity of opportunities.

Kt Banwell
Kt has worked in the Charitable sector for the last two decades. Advocating for the voices and causes of those more vulnerable. I am passionate about people, diversity and human potential. I am Heather’s Wingwoman. I wholeheartedly share her vision, passion, and potential for WINGS. I am a creative at heart, and hope to bring these skills to the project. I believe in the power of numbers, and that with the right support network, anything is possible.
